Rain washes out Toyota Tundra 'Running of the Bulls' scheduled Saturday, March 15 at Volunteer Speedway

BULLS GAP, Tenn. (March 15) — With heavy rain falling around the East Tennessee region during the morning hours and continuing into the afternoon, and the National Weather Service forecast calling for additional rain throughout the night, the Rusty Wallace Toyota - Toyota Tundra "Running of the Bulls" racing program scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at Volunteer Speedway has been canceled.

Tentative plans were to race on Sunday, March 16, but with the National Weather Service forecast now predicting much cooler temperatures (nighttime lows in the upper-20s), no attempt will be made to race on Sunday night.

The next racing program scheduled at "The Gap" will be the Friday and Saturday, March 21-22 running of the Advance Auto Parts Thunder Series $10,000-to-win "10th Annual Spring Thaw 100."
