Tazewell - Toccoa Update

Tazewell, TN (March 17th, 2008) The 3rd Annual Thunder Thaw 50 at Tazewell Speedway has been re-scheduled for Saturday March 29th, which was postponed due to inclement weather back on March 9th. Sunday March 30th will also serve as a possible rain date for this event.

Pit gates will open at 3pm with grandstands opening at 4pm and racing starting at 6pm. In addition to the $3,000 to win A-Main for The Advance Auto Parts Thunder Series Late models, the Limited Late Models will run for $1,000 to win. Other classes in action will include Street Stock and Modified Street. The Crate Late Models and The Mini Stock Division will be off on March 29th.

In the meantime, officials with Toccoa Speedway (Toccoa, GA) have requested to move their originally scheduled March 29th event to some time in May or June. The date will be announced in the near future.
