Strutmasters.com Named Title Sponsor for NASCAR Camping World East Series Race at the Music City Motorplex July 19

NASHVILLE, TN – The Music City Motorplex announced today that the NASCAR Camping World East Series event scheduled on the 50th Anniversary of the track, July 19th, will be titled the “Strutmasters.com 150.”  The event is being presented by Dollar General.

The green flag for the NASCAR Camping World East Series Strutmasters.com 150 is set for 7:30pm, with one hundred and twenty five 125 laps of action from the Motorplex’s own NASCAR Whelen All American Late Models set for 4:45pm. 

Strutmasters is a North Carolina company founded in 1999 by Chip Lofton that excels in supplying quality suspension kits for nearly all makes and models.  Strutmasters has grown from its original 1,500 square foot building into its now 220,000 square foot building over the past nine years of operation.

NASCAR’s Camping World East Series (formerly known as Busch East Series), has been known to be a stepping stone for the next generation of NASCAR Super Stars, such as Gibbs Racing’s Joey Logano. Last years event also showed the diversity of NASCAR in this series with the race featuring drivers from Canada and Europe, and featuring a female, Hispanic, and African American competitors. The series is used by a number of Sprint Cup and Nationwide teams as the training ground for their development drivers. Some of these teams include Gibbs Racing, Rusty Wallace Racing, Childress Racing, and Armando Fitz Racing.

The event will be televised live on the HDNet and taped delayed on Speed.

The Strutmasters 150 for the NASCAR Camping World East Series is part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of NASCAR paved racing for the Music City Motorplex which kicks off Friday July 18 with the inaugural “Old School Racing” Series. The series features such NASCAR greats as Geoffrey Bodine, Dave Marcis, Jack Ingram, Larry Pollard, Joe Ruttman, and Jimmy Hensley to name a few. The anniversary weekend will conclude July 20 with the CRA Super Series returning to the Motorplex for the “CRA 150” which was postponed due to weather from March 29.

July 18 ticket prices are $15 in advance, $20 at the gate.

July 19 ticket prices are $15 in advance, $20 at the gate.

July 20 ticket prices are $12 in advance, $15 at the gate

Combo tickets for July 18 & 19 are $25 in advance, $30 at the gate.

Super Combo tickets good for the entire weekends activities are $35 in advance, $45 at the gate.
