Crossville Raceway reschedules practice due to weather

Heavy rains across Tennessee forced the cancellation of several racing programs over the weekend including the season’s first open practice at Crossville Raceway USA. The session has been rescheduled for THURSDAY APRIL 3rd with the gates opening at 5 pm (cdt). The pit price is $15 while the Grandstand will feature FREE admission for fans, with the concession stand and the photo/souvenir stand both open on a limited basis. Track photographer ‘On Pit Road Photos’ will be on hand to do photos for drivers, cars, crew members and on track action. The previously scheduled practice for Sunday April 6 will still take place.

Crossville Raceway USA will open it’s 2008 season with it’s first weekly racing program on Friday Night, April 11. Gates will open at 4:30 pm, Hot Laps at 6:30 and Racing to begin at 7:30 pm. (CDT). The weekly racing program will include 7 exciting classes that include the UMP Open Wheel Modifieds, Late Model Sportsman, Mini-Mods, Pro Street, Street Stock, Pure Mini and the Cruiser Cars.

In addition to the regular weekly programs, Crossville Raceway USA will feature several Super Late Model programs including the Advance Auto Parts Tennessee Thunder Series, the Southern Regional Racing Series and the Ray Cook Southern Nationals Series, and The O’Reilly United Sprint Car Series will visit the track in July. In addition look for announcement for our ‘Fan’s Race Side by Side’ nights, kids nickel Nights as well as bicycle and foot races.

Crossville Raceway USA is located at 5434 Highway 70 N Crossville, TN 38571, just 4 miles west of Crossville.
